Apart from traditional forums on SMT, smart plant, ESD, and printed electronics, the event will add new forums to cover mobile phone manufacturing materials, auto industry, and industrial robotics that seek to explore hot topics about safety and security, automotive electronics, medical electronics, industrial control, cell and power management, and LED.

NEPCON China Conference

New mobile phone industry chain summit to explore materials and components trends

New electronics materials play a key role in promoting the development of electronics manufacturing. It is expected that China will see rapid growth of electronics materials in the next five to ten years. Opportunities and challenges abound. In the two days between the 26th and 27th April, 2017 Mobile Phone Industry Chain Summit – Materials VS. Parts will offer the latest technologies and products to over 100 trade visitors from telecommunication, consumer electronics, panel production, accessories and equipment, OEM, and automotive electronics sectors through keynote speeches covering mobile phone materials and parts.

Continuous innovation on the fronts of display, touchscreen, chips, communication, and materials promote smartphone technologies as markets evolve with new products and changing competitive landscape. To showcase the latest technologies in the smartphone sector as well as promote integration of key technologies and applications, NEPCON China debuts the mobile phone industry chain forum to gather mobile phone makers, brand names, solution providers and other mobile phone industry chain players to explore industry trending and technology development.

Auto forum debuts to focus on ADAS development sweet spot

Smart, connected automobiles represent the global trend as autonomous driving unleashes heightened competition among auto makers and tech companies.

Electronics innovation represents a key enabler of the smart, connected trend in the auto industry, as next-gen safety, communication, navigation, and infotainment all rely on electronics. ADAS as a key autonomous driving technology represents key industry focus. In recent years, China has seen rapid development of ADAS, which in turn drives development of related sectors such as sensing and implementation.

Given current development, multiple ADAS sweet spots include production schedule, long-term strategic partnership buildup, and continuous research momentum. The auto makers hope to end monopoly of ADAS technologies by few companies and look forward to the arrival of safe, efficient, affordable, smart cars. The sweet spots affect the development of ADAS in China.

Given such, NEPCON China debuts the auto forum 25-26 April. Automotive World China Tech Forum will explore ADAS development, integration and verification issues in an effort to promote industry development.

Innovative safety and security forum eyes IoT demands

Safety and security represent an integral part of IoT. In 2016, the global IoT safety and security equipment market reached over 200 billion yuan, with video surveillance accounting for more than half of total market value and representing a key component that underlies future smart cities and communities.

With continuous IoT technology permeating into urban lives, how safety and security relate to the call of IoT represents key issues of the manufacturers. In the IoT era, safety and security manufacturers must rapidly integrate advanced video processing, sensing and AI into their solutions as they addressee new opportunities and challenges. The IoT safety and security innovation development forum to take place on 26 April will explore implementation of key technologies as part of the effort to accelerate smart innovation in the sector.

IoT & Smart Medical Industry Development Forum explores medical electronics prospects

In recent years, China has seen continuous growth of the medical electronics market as the country grows to be the third biggest medical electronics market in the world following the US and Japan. Chinese people are demanding more about medical services as hospitals are making the transition to modern, smart services.

Thanks to IoT technologies, smart hospitals, internet+ medicine, mobile medicine, and telemedicine are coming into reality and being adopted. Big data and wearables are permeating in the medical services. The IoT & Smart Medical Industry Development Forum debuts on 26 April on this year’s edition to explore medical electronics landscape, trending, smart and cutting-edge innovation in the sector, advanced smart information system and equipment, and new opportunities and value propositions unleashed by IoT technologies and mobile internet services. Exchanges will take place on hot topics related to medical equipment innovation.

As a well-recognized electronics manufacturing event, NEPCON China gathers the latest products, technologies, and processes of the industry, while providing in-depth exchanges on innovative ideas and cutting-edge solutions through the many professional forums, which offer indispensable platforms of communications at each edition of the event.
