In recent years, the intelligent hardware industry has developed rapidly and many sides are optimistic about its market outlook. Intelligent hardware development is projected to spike around 2020. One reason for this delay is that today’s intelligent hardware is still immature. Take wearable tech for example: new companies and traditional manufacturers are trying to capitalize on its great potential, but, because of low comfort, low degree of product differentiation and other factors, no product has so far spearheaded a developmental direction. Consumers have also not really shown interest in wearables. Additionally, intelligent hardware products in homes, which should have developed greatly in light of the automation tide, are still on the horizon, like the Smart Home concept. These cannot really be implemented due to a failure to identify the market’s pain points, lack of uniform standards and other reasons.
In light of the difficulties faced by the intelligent hardware industry, OFweek will kick off with the OFweek China Intelligent Hardware Seminar 2016 and reveal the latest progress in the intelligent hardware industry. It will share the most advanced technologies and solutions and discuss how China can successfully develop intelligent hardware in Shanghai and Shenzhen, the country’s two intelligent hardware industry hotspots.
The second stop will be at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on August 31. The seminar will closely analyze the problems of most concern to intelligent hardware industry-related manufacturers under two themes: development trends in the intelligent hardware market and innovative technology and its application in the intelligent hardware industry. The seminar intends to invite senior experts active in intelligent hardware design, development, production and distribution, well-known local and international scholars, trade association experts, analysts from research institutes, business elites and other personnel, to share their achievements and point out the way forward for the industry. At the same time, there will be extensive discussion on wearable and home applications that is a focus for intelligent hardware. This will give intelligent hardware professionals valuable reference information and forecasts related to technology, supply chains and markets. It will also further help develop industrialization of intelligent hardware. We look forward to welcoming you to the seminar.
